I think it looks pretty, but it looks like it'll be a bitch to carry around. My personal preference for bags like this is to have a strap so I don't have to actually carry the bag in my hand. More convenient. But other than that, it looks really well done

That looks as good as any commercial product. Hand crafted items are in demand anyway so I say go ahead and start creating. I know a girl in my town who did the same but it was not worth it for her because she sold really cheap and only locally. If you put it on etsy you will probably reach a much larger market.

If I were you I'd use a symbol to identify your brand. I'd recommend use a "gold" colored one stitched on the purse. As for the purse. I personally don't like it very much seems like one of those that my ex used to store her makeup stuff in the bathroom. Try a rectangular cut. And use strong colors like neon green, yellow, red and such. But keep on trying. Practice makes it perfect.
